Once the home of Sir Roger Palmer, who rode in the Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava in 1854, Cefn Park is a family run estate on the edge of Wrexham, North Wales.The caches are located along the public footpaths and bridleway’s within Cefn Park. Originally built in 1730, Cefn Park has been home to the Palmers for nearly 200 years, it has changed with the times, suffering substantial fire damage in 1794 and was extended extensively during the Victorian period. The Cefn Park estate which at one time was quite extensive covering Ireland and the Home Counties. This route is suitable for wheelchairs, buggies or very small children as it is along main roads with a good pathway away from the road.The house today continues to be a family home and is embarking on a new stage of life following the restoration of the original Victorian Kitchen. Dogs are allowed using the countryside code Don’t forget pen & tweezers you will need them. Wellies or Boots are recommended in winter.
