Just as in 2016, we also want to organise another event on Gran Canaria in 2017 and we are looking forward to meet our fellow geocachers from all over Europe again.
Every year when we are on vacation on the beautiful island of Gran Canaria, we meet again geocachers from various countries in Europe. Often we make a friendly chat and share experiences and exchange trackables. Now it seemed a nice idea to combine this one and another.
Holidays and geocaching on Gran Canaria is a fantastic combination to be able to do. But what should the geocoins and trackables do during this holiday? Many trackables want to make it to a particular country, or would like to go back home. And usually failing that. So we want to do something about it.
So come from 11:00 until 12:00 at the event location to chat, or have something to drink or something to eat and bring your trackables which you want to like to travel. We take care of boxes per destination per country. If you have a TB for Sweden, for example, you can put that in the box for Sweden. Etc. If you see TBs or Geocoins in the boxes you can give a lift to a particular country or you see TBs who you can help on their way, take them with you and bring that trackable to it's country of destination.
Of course feel a warm welcome if not bringing any geocoin or travelbug.
Then you will have the chance to discover or pick up some trackables, which should not be so bad either.
Hopefully with the help of you all we now can send the trackables in to the right direction.
The event will take place at Flora’s Bar – Restaurant. Flora's Bar is based at the Gran Chaparral Shopping Centre in Playa Del Ingles.
