to the
2017
Annual Antelope Roundup!

Antelope Lake
Plumas County, Ca.
July 7th-9th, 2017

This is a camping event that runs from

Friday to Sunday.

The event will be held at the group site at the Long Point campground.

This year, we've reserved sites, #1, #3, & #4!

Sites #1 & #4 have numerous level tent areas,

and several beach areas can be accessed from the sites.

For those interested in camping at the group sites , there is room (tent/trailer) for 24 people at each group site.

8 vehicles are allowed at each site, but to ease congestion, please use the overflow parking as much as possible.

Check in time is 1:00 PM

There are other sites available at the campground, but they are by reservation only, so don't delay!

Bring your kids, kayaks, and kamping gear!

FRIDAY

Get yourselves settled, and

After 6:00pm, come on by for a little "meet-n-greet" and strategize.

SATURDAY

2017 Annual Antelope Roundup Geo-Poker Run.

Check in will be at 9am on Saturday July 8th at Long Point Campground Group Site

All participants in the poker run will be required to sign a liability waiver.

When you check in, you will be given an official scorecard with all the necessary coordinates and playing instructions. There will be only one scorecard issued per geocaching ID and only one ID per person. Once all players have turned in their waivers and received their scorecards we will go over the rules and instructions before turning you loose in the forest!
Special tools or equipment may or may not be required to retrieve some of the caches. Come prepared with whatever you think you may need. No hints will be given except those that may be on the score card! A study of the area's roads before coming would be a big help!

You will need to finish caching and return to Long Point Group site by 7pm, where you will turn in your scorecard with the necessary proof of finds from the day.

You will then draw your five card poker hand from a freshly shuffled deck and use any discards you may have earned.

Note to smartphone users!

There is little to no cell service in the area! Make sure it's smart enough before you leave the valley!


There’s plenty of fun to be had and plenty of caches already in the area,
You do not have to participate in the poker run to attend the event!

2nd Annual Antelope Lake Dutch-Oven Cookoff,

Bring your dutch oven and your favorite recipe to share, everyone who samples the fare will get to vote on their

favorite, and there will be awards!

SUNDAY

For those that want to stick around there will be the;

Yaks & Antelope Big Island Brunch.

After that hectic day on Saturday, we thought a relaxing paddle, and Brunch on the Big Island would be just the ticket.
