THE ROAD IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LOW CLEARANCE VEHICLES. You can access this cache by driving down a long dirt road through the scenic hill side. Start at either Rancheria near Bakersfield or 155 and Alta Sierra west of Wolford Heights. Placed at the gate to the old historic Oak Flat Lookout that has been converted into an overnight campsite. If you take a walk from the gate you will get an amazing view from the lookout tower of the lower Kern River Canyon and the San Joaquin Valley. Just follow the dirt road.
