Skenes Creek is a coastal village, located approximately 6 kilometers north of Apollo Bay.
Named after surveyor Alexander James Skene in the early 1860's, it had a school & shop.
Now it hosts mainly holiday homes with a scattering of permanent residents.
The Cache can be found in all but extreme conditions.
There is plenty of parking either side of Great Ocean Road
The safest crossing of Great Ocean Road is to walk under the bridge.
