Don't even think about staying dry. Even a boat won't save you on this one. The good news is the water temperature is fairly stable year round. Enjoy the experience!
Turkey Creek is a great local recreation spot. Countless people enjoy the boardwalk. Many more people enjoy floating down the creek. This cache takes the challenge a step further- you'll need to be in the water to find it, and under the water to retrieve it. The cache is fastened securely, so be sure to take a snorkel and a mask so you can see clearly to find it. Replace the cache as you found it. There are enough people using the water, that placing the cache back where it is hidden is important to keep it from going missing. Happy hunting! Park either above off of College, or below at the park headquarters. We prefer to park upstream, then float downstream- especially on hot summer days. The float feels great, then we can warm back up and dry off on the walk back to the car.
Bring your own pen. The cache is attached with a carabiner.
