Geocache Description:

The original Horse o' War cache by Daxie and adopted by Damhuisclan (GC11GDR), has become unsustainable due to muggles who sit exactly on the hide while observing the surrounding residences - for whatever nefarious reason. By mutual agreement I will place and maintain the new cache in a similar spot at this location, as I often walk to the monument.

Caledonia Hill is the site of a monument to soldiers of the Scottish Horse Regiment who fell during the Anglo-Boer War. The monument site offers spectacular views of the city skyline to the west, and all the way to OR Tambo International Airport to the east. The site overlooks Bezidenhout park, formerly the Bezuidenhout farm where the British forces had an encampment during the Anglo-Boer War. As mentioned muggles also use the site for various legal and illegal purposes, so be aware for your own safety. Not recommended alone and never at night. Please do not compromise the cache if there are muggles around. If you have a muggle problem I will accept e-mailed photos showing the muggles that are curtailing your search, in lieu of a signature in the logbook.
