"Catzeye! Up High", is the first cache of Catzeye-Spumoni. We began Geocaching over a year ago. When it came time to pick a name, my hubby thought of Catzeye, since I LOVE marbles. We added a few letters to make it work, and that's where we began.
Cat eye marbles can be found in many colors. They are clear, so that you can see through them, and they contain another color of glass on the inside that make them look like a cat's eye.
Darwin-Dassel Park, in Meeker County is a wonderful park. It is the largest county park in Meeker County with 160 acres. It is known for it's Winter Recreational area, so bring along a sled if the season is right for some great fun! There are also picnic areas and hiking trails and horse trails. There are some great views too! There are restrooms in the parking area.
One thing to beware of in this park is wild parsnip. Poison ivy is also found in parts of this park. There are signs saying to be careful, so stick to the trails when needed.
Thank you so much to all of the Geocachers that have placed so many caches for me to find! It's been a great adventure that wouldn't have been possible without all of you.
Congratulations to Cruiser5 for getting the First to Find on my very first cache!
