Cache is in the foothills of the colorful Gila Mountains at the base of Fortuna peak, on Arizona State Trust Land. A recreation permit is required to geocache on Arizona State Trust Land and is available on the [Arizona State Land Department's website] (https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits) in 0rder to geocache there. Need high clearance vehicle and might want 4 wheel drive. Vehicles follow existing trails. Hiking to the cache can be steep and stenuous. Option to hike all the way, park off county 15E and hike along the trails. Observe all desert precautions and expect all desert inhabitants and big horn sheep. Please replace as found. BYOP & TOTT.
