CARW2017 - Trapped on the Woodlands Traditional Cache

1.  This CARW2017 cache will be published about 6pm on Thurs, March 2nd.
2.  Please remember that caches CANNOT be hunted until 9AM SATURDAY March 4th.
3.  Should you hunt and find this cache prior, it will not count for the event, and FTF points are only valid as of 9AM March 4th.

Welcome to Chickakoo Natural Area. It is one of our favorite places to come and hike. Please make sure to take time and enjoy the area and all the trails. Please make sure to respect the area and stick to the trails, they will take you pretty close the cache spot. 

This cache is about 50-70m off the Main Woodland trail. Please try to avoid bushwaking, you will be pleasantly surprised to find a small footpath of the Woodland trail. But go back the way you came don't continue to follow the footpath as it is rather long, it pops out just by Top of The Trail .

While Chickakoo is a beautiful area this cache is on the Advanced trail so please keep this in mind. It does have a some hills, nothing too strenuous. Depending on the parking lot you use this can easily be a 3-5km hike.
