The original Roaring Rapids was the first cache I hid in this newly discovered area back in 2012. The cache went missing in 2017 and after seeing the condition of where it was hidden, I decided to archive it and come up with a new hide nearby.
The location of this cache is in the Rancheria Road Recreational Access area which is daytime use only. Summer (May-Sept) hours: 6am-8:30pm | Winter (Oct-Apr) hours: 8am-6pm. The gate to the dirt lot closes at night so don't get stuck!
