Brevard County Parks Department has been a very good partner when it comes to placing geocaches in their parks. We have worked very hard over the years to build a very strong relationship between geocachers and the parks department. One thing we as geocachers can do to give back to them for allowing us to place caches in these parks to help them out when asked. We have been asked if we could lend a hand at this park. They have completed some major additions to the park and need some of the branches, vines and pom fronds moved from a big pile to the parking lot near the road so the city can remove it and take it off to the landfill. Be prepared to work dragging branches, picking up trash and whatever else is asked of us. Bring gloves to help protect your hands. The event will start at 9:00 where we will get our instructions and will last until we get the work done most likely by 11:00 am. We may have some additional things to add but needed to get this event published. Make plans today and log your intentions to attend.
