Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
Don't go there unless you want to get wet!

As I have been studying for the Spelling Bee over the last few years, I have come across a bunch of homophones. A homophone is a word that sounds like another word, but has a different spelling and meaning. These words can be difficult to spell correctly, because first you have to realize which of the sound alike words is being used, then you have to match the definition to the correct word in order to remember the correct spelling. Tricky!!

So, I thought it would be fun to make a series of puzzle caches involving homophones. This is the seventh cache in my 'Hooray for Homophones!' series. For each puzzle, I will list numerical values for the letters in the alphabet. Then, I will list definitions for five pairs of homophones, with dashes representing the letters used to correctly spell each set of words. Certain dashes will be indicated with a * symbol. Convert these marked letters to their corresponding numerical values. Use the values of the *s in the order in which they appear to create a correct set of coordinates for the cache.

You are solving for: N 26 **.*** W 080 **.***

Here are the numerical values of the letters of the alphabet:

Here are the homophone pairs:

Good luck, and bring your own pen.
