Geocache Description:

The walk that this cache is on starts opposite the Weka Pass railway (just up from the Waikari Tearooms) at -42 58.280 / 172 42.325, walk is about 1.4km each way, although half of that is uphill.

This cache is not where it was intended to be placed. We were heading up to the Maori Rock drawings, but about 200m on from the cache, I managed to slip over, spraining my ankle. Needless to say we did not get to the Maori Rock drawing (please post a picture if you make it up) and had a very slow trip back down the hill. So it was not a complete waste of time, we planted the cache as a memorial to my stupidity! (Hence the name)
The cache is a 1.3l plastic container, placed just above the tree.

Note: The cache is inaccessible between 1 August and 24 October due to lambing. See attached photo. I have been informed by Maxateo that the walk is now accessible all year around (see comments below)
