Located on the Cromwell to Bannockburn is the ruins of a solitary miners hut. It is Set in among trees but with a great view. Some kind person has placed a seat nearby where you can sit and enjoy the view across the Kawarau River to the vineyards and olive groves beyond. When the jet boats aren't humming it can be a very peaceful place to sit.
