Žaslių piliakalnis


Piliakalnis įrengtas aukštumos kyšulyje, kurį iš PV supa Žaslių ežeras, iš P ­- bevardis upelis. Aikštelė trikampė, pailga ŠV­-PR kryptimi, apie 40 m ilgio ir 50 m pločio ŠV gale. ŠV gale turėjo būti pylimas ir griovys, tačiau viskas sunaikinta statant Žaslių bažnyčią (paviršius nukastas per 1,5 m). Išliko tik 31 m ilgio, 27 m pločio ŠV gale piliakalnio aikštelės PR pakraštys su 0,6 m aukščio, 13 m pločio išskleistu pylimu. Ir ši piliakalnio dalis smarkiai apardyta čia stovinčios koplyčios, aplink ją esančių kapų. Šlaitai statūs, 10 m aukščio. P šlaitas eroduoja. Čia 1952 m. buvo pastebėtas kultūrinis sluoksnis su anglimis, pelenais, keramikos šukėmis.

Piliakalnis datuojamas I tūkst. -­ II tūkst. pradžia.

Yra į PR nuo Žaslių bažnyčios.

The mound is equipped on the hilly cape, which is surrounded by PV Žaslių Lake, from P - unnamed creek. Parking triangular, oblong-west-south-easterly direction, about 40 m long and 50 m wide NW end. West end of the seawall and it had to ditch, but everything is destroyed building Žaslių church (surface harvested over 1.5 m). It survived only 31 m long, 27 m wide NW end of the mound area PR periphery with 0.6 m high, 13 m wide dyke-expanded. And this part of the mound severely eroded here standing chapel, located around the graves. The slopes are steep, 10 m high. P eroded hillsides. Here in 1952. The cultural layer was observed with coal ash, ceramic shards.
The mound dating back to the first millennium. - II. beginning.
It is located southeast of Žaslių church.
