In the sleepy town of Toongabbie there is a bushland reserve that serves the town as a recreation area for bikes and ponies.
The above coordinates will take you to the Toongabbie Water Reserve. The what? you may ask? The water reserve sits in the middle of town and is frequented by people riding bikes and riding horses. On the 2nd Sunday of the month the pony club hold lessons and events here. Even though it is called a water reserve there are no water tanks or evidence of its previous life. The reserve was originally a large dam (established in 1883) that was fed from an underground spring and was used by people hauling goods via horse and bullock train to water their stock.
Park in Omeara Street (coordinates given in waypoint please do not park in Stringer Rd) and take a pleasant walk in the park to find the cache at ground level.
