Sign of the Plough Traditional Cache
sparafucile: In view of the difficulty in concealing this cache with some degree of security in the immediate vicinity I have decided to archive this cache. I have place a new cache "The Little Cemetery Safari" half a KM to the east of this cache location in order to replace it. This new cache should prove much better sport!

A fairly easy cache to reach, on level ground but with a ridge to the south. Parking is available on the main drive near the Tower, a landmark that can be seen for miles or in the car park in Shenley Park if you dont mind an extra 10 minute walk.
This is our first cache and we have made it fairly easy.
The location affords nice views over the fields towards the city of St Albans on the slighly higher ground some 10km to the north. St Albans Cathedral is also visible from the edge of the wood to the south.
This cache originally contains:-
a bottle of kiddies bubble mixture
a pot of Vapour Rub
a box of adhesive plasters
a box of chocolate sticks
a bottle of nail varnish
a disposable camera
a notebook & pen
The box is a 2L tupperware container wrapped in a plastic carrier bag and marked with its name & co-ordinates.
