Located near the Spanish Creek trailhead along Mirror Lake trail.
The best place to start is to park at the Spanish Creek trailhead, a nice drive about 9 miles off of US Highway 191. Watch for buffalo, elk, deer, moose and bear along the way. You can cross Spanish Creek at a footbridge located at N45 26.916’, W111 22.698’. Follow the trail toward Mirror Lake. The cache is located about 40 feet off the trail. Hope you can get close, as the location often has poor GPS coverage due to the surrounding mountains. Cache is located in a black ammo can. You may want insect repellant in the summer and stay alert for moose and bear. Access in the winter is difficult.
