Geocache Description:

This series of caches features the older board games many of us baby boomers played as kids. Before the days of Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox these types of games were the rage. Some of them are still very popular and some have disappeared into the past.

There are a variety of puzzles in this series that I hope are not too difficult for the average cacher to solve. Look for clues along the way – some of the log sheets will contain codes to help you find the final two bonus caches.

The cache is not located at the posted coordinates. Studying may help you find them!

This game was created back in the early 1940's – when many country schools were one room schools and all 8 grades met in one main room. I think that may have been the inspiration for the design of the game board – rows of desks with inkwells on each one. Students were promoted to a higher grade only after they mastered the skills of their current level. In the game you progressed by answering trivia questions correctly, then rolling the dice until you make it to the top.
