This was a pay campground for many years. Now it’s free but you have to bring your own water and there only on toilet. This is where you enter. I suggest daylight hours on this one. The recreation area gets some local use / traffic. NOTE its open and camping is free.
This is a small container in the post. It has Camo tape on it it's going to be a reach and you may want to use a stick to clear potential cobwebs.
After you find this one please visit the lake. There are other caches here and a reg. ammo can cache near the lake. There are several good hiding spots. There are basic restrooms (vault style) by the lake and the parking lot. They should be open and in good shape. Picnic tables, Pavilion, grills, boat ramp (for small boats with restrictions), hiking trails on site for your enjoyment. You can make a geo day of it here without much problem and get in a nice walk. Bring Lunch and a fishing pole.
