Geocache Description:

Welcome to Lake Weatherford! This park is one of my favorite areas of the lake, with picnic areas, piers, and lots of birds and fishing opportunities. A flock of pelicans is in the area seasonally and this seems to be their favorite area as well. Bass, catfish, crappie, sunfish, and carp are plentiful in the lake, so toss in a line and share a fishy story with your friends.

This cache is placed in an obvious location but hopefully blends in well enough to make it a fun find. I obtained the cool cache container as swag in a local geocacher’s mystery cache – thank you jacb8s! It’s fairly small, so log only and very tiny trade items (BYOP). There is a FTF geocoin for the first cacher to log this cache. Message me after the find, and I’ll send you the registration code for the trackable. Happy Caching!!
