Geocache Description:

Going to or coming from the Island? Then check out the "COG" Series between Port Elgin & Cape Tormentine along a 30 km section of the Sentier NB Trail / Trans Canada Trail -- an abandoned rail bed.

This series makes for a great hike/bike ride during the spring to fall and a nice cross-country ski/snowshoe during the winter.

The trail is very easy hiking/biking. All cache hides are winter friendly baring heavy snowfall and less than 20m from the rail bed, though they may require some steep descents here and there. We have seen moose, deer and bear in the past.

NOTE:

Even though the "trail" is very drivable by regular car, the trail is closed to motorized vehicles -- please obey!
