RoadAndTheSky placed several caches out here on the Pate Hollow Trail, including "Pay Me Back - Hide a Cache". So, I placed one here. Actually, I placed it in this spot back in 2012 under a different cache listing site, but no one plays that game around here, so I am converting it to a Geocache to pay RATS back. In fact, it took me a few minutes of rooting around to find the container due to natural causes, so to speak. It is still in the same location, but no longer covered by 4.5 years of detritus. I like this secluded spot as it offers a decent view of Lake Monroe's coves. Because this is at the far end of a 6-mile hike up and down the hills and hollers, this pay back is a b... well, it's a good hike.
