Geocache Description:

THE RENEGADE

There once lived a man, a legend. Many of us geocachers knew this man. Today(day of the posting) was the memorial for this great man. I myself was really introduced to geocaching by this legend. ksrenegade was the name. When I was 12 i found my first geocache. A year later, my first mystery puzzle cache. My first uzzle was a monkey lock puzzle. It looked like some weird alien device. We found it smashed. Inside the remains of this destroyed puzzle was a logbook with geocaching.com printed at the top. Being the type of person i was i only felt it right to try to report the damges i had seen. I did not have an account for geocaching yet. I would look on a map and try to rough guess where it was. Because of renegade, i made the account to report it to him. I explained the situatuion of what i found. He pointed out the fact that i didnt have any finds on my profile. After frequent emails back and forth i learned how to work geocaching.com Later i would find out how to hide good traditional caches, as well as to do good, hard to think of puzzle caches. Renegade taught me how to do all these things for geocaching and many more things. I dont think there is enough space on a usual traditional cache page to describe how great of a man renegade(Marty) was to alot of different people. Im going to miss that early 6 AM notification about how ksrenegade got first to find on my caches, as well as the phone calls from being lost on where i hid my newest geocache. Marty left the geocachers of the world with some big shoes to try to fill. He will be remembered forever. This cache is in memory of the Renegade, please let your travel bugs stop by here. The honor of the FTF goes to all the geocachers that were at his funeral today. Please bring your own righting instrument. Email me if there is any trouble.
