Please join us for Geocaching's CITO event in conjunction with Keep Scottsdale Beautiful program. We will pick up litter on a portion of Dynamite Road between Pima Road and Hayden Road. Meet at 8:30am at GZ to sign the log sheet, complete the "Participant Agreement Form", pick up supplies and gather for a group photo. There is plenty of parking on the shoulders but please do not block the BIKE LANE as a fair number of bicyclists use this route regularly.
We are working closely with the City of Scottsdale who will provide safety vests, litter bags and will remove the trash we gather. Geocachers should wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, hat and sunscreen for protection from the thorny plants and trees. Please also bring thick gloves and grabbers if you have them. We'll provide water.
Per City of Scottsdale regulations: no children under the age of 12 are permitted to participate on the road clean-up; children between the ages of 12-17 must have parental supervision; and all volunteers will be required to sign a "Participant Agreement Form and Waiver of Liability".
All geocachers are welcome to attend. As a bonus, those attending CITO events April 22 thru April 30 will earn a special CITO souvenir for their geocaching profile.
