These Family Series geocaches in Mulholland Open Space preserve, as well as some in the west part of Moraga in an eerie "ghost town" area there, will introduce some of the lesser known, or perhaps just lesser spoken with, family members.
To get to the main trailhead for this Open Space area, take Moraga Rd to Donald Rd and follow the brown signs to the open space preserve. Donald Rd dead ends and you can park near the end of it which is the trailhead. For this particular cache, there is a much closer trailhead to bring you to it. Take Moraga Way to Ivy Drive, then turn on Descanso Drive. At the end of Descanso find a trailhead with sign "Nature Trail."
The Eccentric Aunt cache is about 1/4 mile in from the trailhead. This trail is quite narrow, steep in places, and muddy and slick in rainy season. Take care you don't slide off the trail and end up tobagganing downhill on your rear. Hiking poles are recommended in wet season. If you come from the main trailhead at north part of Donald Rd, you'll need to go steep downhill and steep back up again. On the trail below the cache there is a nice waterfall that occurs during rainy season.

To open the cap of the cache, push up on the cap -- don't try to unscrew it.
Congratulations to KCSearcher, RVCrew and Lindyfind for the early morning FTF!
