Geocache Description:

Come on out and help us clean up the Findlay Creek area on Saturday, April 22nd from 9:30am until 11:00am.

Meet at Diamond Jubilee Park (at the gazebo near the play structure) at 9:30am to get started, signed in and receive your supplies (the city of Ottawa has donated garbage bags, leaf bags and rubber gloves). Geocachers will be separated (or separate themselves) into groups. These groups will be given a task cleanup site in the general vicinity. I will stay around Diamond Jubilee Park in case anyone is coming out a bit later to help.

Keep your eyes peeled for geocaches posted in this region just before the event, because "Cache In" is just as fun as "Trash Out"! Dress according to the weather, and with good working clothes, footwear and gloves. The clean up will be held on this day rain or shine!

At 11:00 AM return to the posted coordinates at Diamond Jubilee Park with your trash (if possible) for the group photo and a free prize draw!

Plenty of parking in the lot at Diamond Jubilee or on nearby streets. Please do not block sidewalks or people's driveways.

Lots of great little caches to find in Findlay Creek, especially for kids, once you are done helping with the clean up. TB exchange box will be available for those who want to drop off or exchange trackables.
