Geocache Description:

The Scout Abouts are at it again! Come join us Sunday March 19th at 2 pm for a pleasant stroll through the PTF (Plaistow Town Forest). Plan on 2 hours for the hike.

The Plaistow Town Forest trails make for a beautiful walk in the woods. The trails and other improvements provided by Eagle Scout projects from the local Boy Scouts showcase this wonderful mixed woods forest. The gentle hills of this 400 acre conservation area include a journey around Frog Pond, a great blue heron rookery active in the Spring and early summer. Please prepare for the conditions. As of now the trails are snow free and wet, but depending on how the weather turns they may change. We look forward to a great afternoon on the trails.
