The 11th Annual Dönerstag




Geocaching HQ has announced all Event Attendees will receive a special Souvenir.

And here is your opportunity to grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a quick event.
Dönerstag

What is a Dönerstag ??

"Dönerstag began when German cachers met at kebab shops around the country at the same time"
These special events are held each year on a Thursday.
In German, this makes the name “Dönerstag” a pun:
The German word for Thursday is “Donnerstag” and Kebab translates to “Döner”.
Last year, over 6000 players attended 233 Dönerstag events.
The events were held all over Europe, from Germany and Austria to the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Here in Owen Sound, we don't have a place to enjoy kebabs, but we do have places to meet that specialize in Coffee. So, Coffee it is !
Everyone is welcome, and please indicate the number in your group when you log your "will-attend".

We are planning a great time with talk and fun. We will discuss geocaching, swap stories, trade or discover Travel Bugs, Geocoins, Geotags, etc.


This is definitely a high muggle area, but stealth is not required, and we are all welcome.  I will be enjoying a Large Black, as we meet and greet.
