To work out the location of this cache, you need to do the following:
- Solve the puzzle below (see the cache listing for Slitherlink Boot Camp for the rules about how to solve Slitherlink puzzles).
- Locate the letters a through to u in the puzzle (i, l and o are omitted). For each letter, its numeric value is the number of lines around the cell.
The original cache location was S 43 30.ABC E 172 34.DEF, where:
A = a + b + c
B = d - e -f
C = g - h - j
D = k - m - n
E = p + q + r
F = s + t + u
The checksum for A to F is 18.
In December 2021 the cached was replaced in a new location (subtract 0.009 from the South minutes and 0.016 from the East minutes).
The cache container is a small torch (roughly Eclipse tin size), attached to fence, near base of metal post, hidden in ivy. Leave the ring attached to the wire (just unscrew the container in situ). When replacing, please make sure they lid is fully on (it takes several turns).
