Elisabethmolen
Jarenlang was deze voormalige koren- en oliemolen een ruïne, verwoest door het oorlogsgeweld in de 2e wereldoorlog. Zie onderstaande foto.
In 2014-2015 zijn de restanten hersteld en is er een nieuw sluiswerk en een nieuw houten schoepenrad geplaatst. Dit is verbonden met een generator om stroom op te wekken. Om de installatie te beschermen tegen weersinvloeden is er een dak boven gemaakt. In juni 2015 is de watermolen weer in gebruik genomen. Zie onderstaande foto waarop de gerenoveerde molen te zien is. De opgewekte elektriciteit wordt geleverd aan het naastgelegen restaurant Elisabethhof en aan het elektriciteitsnet. De opbrengst wordt gebruikt voor het beheer en onderhoud van de molen en voor educatie over de molen en energie-opwekking. De molen is in eigendom van Stichting Elisabethmolen en wordt beheerd en onderhouden door vrijwilligers.
Vanuit deze locatie zijn ook diverse mooie wandelingen te maken in het Leudal.
Elisabeth mill
For years this former corn and oil mill was a ruin, devastated in World War II. Check the first picture above . The building was renovated in the years 2014-2015. New lock works and a wooden paddle wheel were installed too. The paddle wheel is connected to a generator to produce electricity. A roof was built to protect the mill against weather conditions. The renovated mill started operation again in June 2015. The second picture above shows the renovated mill. The electricity is supplied to the adjacent restaurant "Elisabethof" and to the public power grid. The revenue is used for maintenance of the mill and for education about the history of the mill and hydro electric power generation. The mill is owned by foundation "Elisabeth Mill". Operation and maintenance is done by volunteers. This location is also a good starting point for several nice walks in the Leudal nature reserve.

De cache - aandachtspunten:
De cache is magnetisch en is eenvoudig te vinden door op de toegestane looppaden te blijven. Het is niet toegestaan om te zoeken aan de andere kant van het hekwerk, de cache ligt niet buiten het hekwerk.
De molen is een gemeentelijk monument. Er is camerabewaking. Indien iemand schade of beschadigingen toebrengt zal diegene aansprakelijk zijn voor herstel of een schadevergoeding.
Het is een kleine cache, er is geen ruimte voor goodies of geocoins. Neem zelf een pen mee.
Houd het leuk voor cachers die na je komen, plaats daarom geen informatie of foto’s van de cachelocatie in de logs. Logjes met een reactie over de molen en/ of een foto van de molen worden zeer gewaardeerd!

The cache is magnetic and easy to find while remaining on the permitted walk way. It is not allowed to search behind the railing and you won't find the cache there...
The mill is a monument. There is camera surveillance. If someone inflicts damage, he or she will be held responsible for restoration or compensation.
It is a small cache, there is no space for goodies or geocoins. Bring your own pen.
Keep this cache fun for everyone, so do not place information or pictures about the cache location in the logs. Logs with a comment about the mill and / or a photo of the mill are greatly appreciated!
