Geocache Description:

A BOATING EVENT ON THE 7 With the option of a climb !

The Tenbury and Bewdley Railway was a railway that ran from Tenbury in Shropshire to Bewdley in Worcestershire, England. The line is sometimes referred to as the Wyre Forest line or simply the Tenbury Line.

The line closed to passengers on 1 August 1962 and for freight on 6 January 1964 as part of the Beeching Axe.

An event where cachers can get together for a chat and maybe a wet n wild experiencel along with watching cachers grab a 5/5 together with swapping stories, anecdotes and trackables as they see fit. If you're new and haven't attended one of these events before then we'll make ourselves as visible as possible but obviously you need to come and look.

A number of the station buildings survive in private hands; many share similar architectural features to others in and around the Severn Valley area. For much of its working life it was operated by the Great Western Railway and subsequently the Western Region of British Railways.

The Event will run from 12.00 (midday until 13:00) longer if cachers are still on "route"

on the SATURDAY 1ST OF APRIL.
