This area of Emeryville has transitioned over the last couple decades from a warehouse and factory district into a lively neighborhood with converted loft residences, artists, small businesses, restaurants and some sweet green features. For our first geochache we thought we'd take you to a peaceful vantage point from which to experience the neighborhood. update 2020; the cache went missing twice recently so we've changed the type of hide at the same location.
Street parking near this cache can be tight during business hours, but part of the fun is walking through and usually you can find street parking not far away on 55th or Doyle streets near this location. Please do not park in any of the businesses parking lots unless you are patronizing them. Once you find this one, please tuck it back in it's spot fully out of view.
