Aquithie (Aquhythie) wood is mainly a conifer plantation with well defined paths and wonderful open vistas to the Bennachie hills beyond. This woodland walk is very popular with local visitors, enjoying a woodland stroll or exercising their pets.
This is the second cache which I have placed in these woods. The circular walk on a well trodden path round the perimeter of the woods, provides a great walk to stretch the legs. This cache is a small container and is placed to provide a beautiful view over the countryside to Manar House Burnhervie and on to Bennachie's prominant Mither Tap.
