Geocache Description:

Third Place
MOGA 2017 - Cache Builder Competition!!!!

Sarpy County Geo-Trail #1

Explored in 1805 by Lewis and Clark and settled by fur traders, adventurers, farmers, and finally entrepreneurs, Sarpy County has served as a springboard for Nebraska’s settlement and expansion. Sarpy County is the smallest county in size in the state of Nebraska, with 248 square miles.

This Geo-Trail will take you all over the county and really show you what the county has to offer. If you choose to complete all the caches in the trail, you will end up visiting all 5 Sarpy County Cities: Bellevue, Gretna, La Vista, Papillion, and Springfield.

1. You will need to download and print or stop into the GoSarpy County building to pick up your Game Piece.
2. Each geocache on the trail, will have a punch, you will need to punch your game piece with the correct punch for said geocache. LEAVE THE PUNCH IN THE GEOCACHE!
3. Once you complete the trail, you can return your game piece to the GoSarpy Building and show them your game piece, and they will give you your reward, a trackable geocoin. Please one geocoin per household

Permission was granted for all hides, do not break any of the containers, they will all be hidden out in the open, easy to spot, tougher to open. Be patient, and solve the needed puzzle to gain access to the geocache and all its’ goodies inside!

Thank you all for participating, and please, let GoSarpy know how much fun you had doing the Geo-Trail.
