Geocache Description:

#2 in this series. Small camo'd pill bottle. Log only. Easiest to park on the north side of Eagle River Loop by the park, then short walk.

Prometheus was the Titan God of forethought in Greek mythology and a champion of humankind. He made the first men out of clay and tricked Zeus into letting the humans keep the best meat from their burnt offerings, so Zeus took away humankind's fire. Prometheus stole the fire back from Zeus's altar and gave it back to the humans. Zeus found out and for punishment, chained Prometheus to a rock wall where, every day, an eagle would come and eat his liver. Overnight the liver would grow back and the eagle would always come back the next day. This ongoing torment went on until Prometheus was eventually rescued by Hercules.
