I enjoyed creating a puzzle for the "Thirteen is the Answer" cache and I wanted to make up a second. As the first was numerical, however, the second version needed to be something different. A written puzzle will now fit the bill. Several things then needed to happen. Finding a location to place the cache was the first step. Once that was completed I had to ensure I had a container which would be suitable. Completing those two steps, I then had to actually create the puzzle. This was the hardest step of all. I had ideas floating around in my head for several days to direct folks to the physical cache. Now, how to begin writing the clues up? The difficult part was to tie the writing into the general theme of the puzzle, in other words how was I to tie in the number thirteen to the narrative? Once I figured how the thirteen was to be incorporated I had to get the paperwork with geocaching complete. Finishing that, all that was left was to submit the cache and patiently wait for approval. I hope you like the result.
Congratulations to KWrightVA for a very quick FTF!
You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
I have had the container go missing several times. Therefore, once you have a success on the Geochecker and are at GZ, to log the cache send me the code you will find at GZ. This code is in two parts, a five digit part beginning with the letter G, and a four letter part. Once you find the code go ahead and log as a find, and I will confirm with the code you send.
Thanks! Enjoy the caching.
