Oileán Madeira - (Madeira Island)

Ag teacht an 19ú céad bhí cupla grúdlann I gceantar na Gaillimhe ag tairgeadh beoir. Bhí ceann acu ar oileáin Mhadeira. Gearann Sráid Dhominic Íochtarach, áit a bhfuil Áras na nGael, síos trí lár an oileáin.

At the turn of the 19th century a number of brewers existed around Galway city producing beer. One of them was on Madeira island. Dominick Street Lower, where Áras na nGael is situated, cuts through the centre of the island.

The Cache
This cache is a plastic box, with magnets, with a logbook and a couple of items. You are welcome to take an item but please replace it with another. The remains of a water mill wheel is on the edge of the island. You can see through it!
