This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Fritz Park

Fifty two acres of this land were purchased by the city of Irving from L. W. Fritz and wife Adeline in 1963. Mr. Fritz raised show horses and had a house and horse barn on the property. Additional land has been purchased since then. On February 26, 1964 the land became Fritz Park. In April 1964 the city put in two softball fields as well as a playground and picnic equipment. In 1970 the petting zoo was opened. The flag pole at the entrance was donated by the Camp Fire Girls. There have been many other things added such as: benches, grills, disc golf, restrooms, basket ball courts, water fountain, and a baseball field. There is also a lake or stream.

You will be looking for a small container with a little room for swag. Beware of flying saucers!
