Castel Nuovo, meglio conosciuto come Maschio Angioino, è un castello storico, medievale e rinascimentale, e uno dei simboli della città di Napoli.
Il castello domina la spettacolare Piazza Municipio ed è sede della Società napoletana della storia del Paese e del Comitato di Napoli dell'Istituto per la Storia del Risorgimento italiano, ospitato nei locali della SNSP.
Nel complesso si trova anche il museo, che riguardano la cappella del palazzo e le mostre del museo del primo e secondo piano.

Castel Nuovo, better known as Maschio Angioino, is a historic, medieval and Renaissance castle, and one of the symbols of the city of Naples.
The castle dominates the spectacular Piazza Municipio and is home of the Neapolitan Society of the country's history and of the Naples Committee of the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento, housed in the premises of SNSP.
In the complex it is also located the museum, which pertain to the palace chapel and the museum exhibitions of the first and second floor.

Castel Nuovo, besser bekannt als Maschio Angioino, ist eine historische, mittelalterliche und Renaissance-Burg und eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt Neapel.
Das Schloss beherrscht die spektakuläre Piazza Municipio und ist Sitz der neapolitanischen Gesellschaft der Geschichte des Landes und des neapolitanischen Komitees des Instituts für die Geschichte des italienischen Risorgimento, das in den Räumen der SNSP untergebracht ist.
In der Anlage befindet sich auch das Museum, das sich auf die Schlosskapelle und die Museumsausstellungen der ersten und zweiten Etage bezieht.
