This is my sons very first geocache. He brought a box to me and asked if we could make it a geocache. Of course I said absolutely. He loves geocaching with his Dad and Uncle Mat. As for the name it was chosen because his Uncle Mat told him a story of Vernon(Gizmo from Gremlins) and it of course scared my son half to death. So the entire week of camping his uncle scared him with a weird sound that he said was Vernon. After a lot of explaining my boy understands Vernon isn't real and now he jokes about it with his uncle. When asked what we should name the cache he decided on Vernon for his Uncle Mat. So we set him up his own account and now he has his own cache. He put in a couple items for kids to find and I added a trackable that hasn't been registered yet. Enjoy and grab some other caches around the area.
