Ireland is a special place. It really is. Besides our pints of Gunness on St patricks day, leprechaun stories and beautiful landscapes we are known to be very lucky☘.
"The luck of the Irish". What exactly does this mean I ask myself. I have never won the lotto neither has anyone I know. Or haven't we? I find myself thinking that perhaps the luck of the Irish is true. Prahaps all the paddys won the lotto, the whole country. The lotto of life. Sure where better to be born and live? Australia? Seriously? Think about it. We give out about the rain and cold all the time but I think we live in a utopia . Perhaps Ireland is the earths garden of Eden. Everyone else should be jelious of us we won the geographical lotto. We live on an Island with virtually no natural dangers we have no volcanos, hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, droughts, no extreme heats, no extreme colds. It's mild all year round by comparison to other countries extreme winters and summers. It's never too hot or too cold and theres no shortage of water which keeps everything nice and green. But thats not were our luck runs out we have no dangerous wild life either. No lions or tigers or bears, no crocodiles or great white sharks, no venomous or poisonions animals that could kill you. No mosquitos or black widows, no killer jelly fish or killer insects. Even our plant life takes it very easy on us nothing sinisterly dangerous out there. Sure the geocacher has a few enemy plants that don't like to play nice and have prickly thorns or stinging nettles but there's nothing of great danger or to be overly alarmed about like you might be in other countries around the world. All in all this geographical luck is also great geo luck because it allows us to hide and search for caches everywhere relatively care free, routing around in woods or citys, long grasses, bushes, cracks and crevices without the worry or dangers of venomous snakes, poisonions insects, crocodiles or even tigers. Did someone say Tiger 🐯. So congratulations Paddys Ireland won the geographical lottery. Now hopefully you will have the GEO luck of the Irish finding this Geocache. *Great location to walk your geo hound especially if they like the water. Just beside GZ the river widens and it is a popular spot for dogs swiming*
