A playground, an island, a giraffe...Wellington Traditional Cache

As the name suggests, this area combines a giraffe (playground) and a bus shelter with a lovely view to Matiu/Somes Island.

This area is worth visiting if you are looking for a playground with a view or a park n grab. It could be combined with a visit to Percy Reserve as a side entrance to the reserve is across the road and further down the hill. If you decide to do that please choose your crossing point carefully to ensure maximum visibility as this part of Dowse Drive is very busy and winding.
