Geocaching introduced me to the River Mountain Park Trail, and I want to return the favor by helping more geocachers discover it. It's a great hike following a little creekbed most of the way between Two Rivers Park & Conner Park, with a crossing at Southridge Drive.
As the stream rills along, it gathers here & there into still pools where crawdads, minnows, & tadpoles can sometimes be found. I happen to know that one particularly pretty pool is home to a woodland water spirit. She watches over the forest flora & fauna from her cozy creekside grotto, and has kindly agreed to guard our geotreasure there too.
Please be respectful of nature as you enjoy it. Please consider this trail a CITO opportunity. Happy hiking & good geoluck!
