Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a sequence of 57 caches that we have placed along the Ohio and Erie Canalway Trail extending from Navarre (Route 21) to Bolivar (Route 212).  This portion of the trail is crushed limestone and offers scenic views with plenty of wildlife.  The trail runs parallel to the canal and the Tuscarawas River.  Parking is available at Craig Pittman Trailhead, Canal Bend Trailhead, and the McDonnell Trailhead.  Restrooms are available at the Craig Pittman and Canal Bend Trailheads.  Picnic tables are available at the Craig Pittman Trailhead.  Benches are conveniently located along the trail.

The trail can occasionally be busy at times, so keep an eye out for others.

Thanks to LuckyPenny-SilverDime for giving us the opportunity to place caches on this trail.

These caches are located within close proximity to the trail, and all containers are small to regular sized.

Bring your own pen / pencil.

Please replace all of the caches just like you found them.

All caches are placed with permission from the Stark County Park District.
