Geocache Description:

In April 1917, Earl Mitchell invented the MoonPie in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  After a century, this tasty confection is still being made by the Chattanooga Bakery.  Considered to some to be the epitome in nutrition, this is one of the few foods on the market which contains the Minimum Daily Requirement (MDR) for selenium.  While New Yorkers may consider a bagel and Starbucks to be the ideal breakfast, generations of Southerners have relied on the MoonPie and RC Cola to be the "Breakfast of Champions."

Everyone is welcome at this Mondays in Manassas event. Be sure to bring your appetite, your geocaching stories, and trackables to share.  Free MoonPies for the first twelve geocachers to arrive.  If you are having a feeling of deja vu, it's because this is our third annual MoonPie event.
