WHAT: The NorthStar GeoSeekers have an "Adopt a Highway" section of U.S. Hwy 71 between Park Rapids and Menagha (since 2012). We pick up trash along a 1 mile stretch of the highway. We clean both sides of the road for a total walking distance of 2 miles.
WHEN: Saturday, April 29, 2017
TIME: 9:00AM start. We finish around 11:00AM
OTHER STUFF:
- Parking is available near the starting point.
- Gloves, safety vests and trash bags will be provided.
- All participants must review the safety information provided by MnDOT before every pickup.
- Participants must be at least 12 years old unless specifically permitted. Participants 18 years old or younger must have adequate adult supervision.
