Event times: Start 8:00 AM
Start As soon as possible, we are probably gonna need a quick start time
Finish 12:00 with T150 at event GC72KX7
After that mspatt's CITO event at GC72XDE
Parking:At the start location. BJ's has us covered with parking and vehicular supervision.
What' s in it for me: 13 Traditional cache logs with kayak difficulty, 1 CITO event and two regular events and if you do the whole deal a GC souvenir.
What to expect at the start: T150% has indicated that there might be a feast at the beginning of this journey, this might happen in the middle but definitely not at the start. Come fed and ready with lots of energy as doughnuts and coffee are about all you are gonna have. This is hillbilly caching at it's best. Bring snacks and stuff for the short trip.
Preparedness on the float: All kidding aside, safety is the number one concern.The usual hazards on a float like this apply. If you are not familiar with these, please identify at the start, you are probably gonna be evident but courtesy dictates you be given the opportunity to come forth. We got ya covered. Please come with plenty of water, Hydration is imperative for the human organism. PFD's and all the personal safety equipment for yakking is required for a float like this. If you are not prepared we will make you so. If you are not comfortable, we will make you that as well. We are here to have safe fun for everyone and we are here for each other!
About your hosts: If you do not know them you will. If you do well.....you will remember. Note: Though reptiles have been discussed, you probably will not see any but about half way through the journey, you will get the opportunity to see a rare Texas mammal in his element. This will be special! Let's have some fun!
