Linkou District (Chinese: 林口區) is a district in the western part of New Taipei in northern Taiwan. It is one of early example of planned community in Taiwan. During the World War II, it was used by the Japanese Armed Forces as a supply air base to support Taipei Air Base. After that, from 1955 to 1977, the US military used it a radio base stationing 6987th Security Group of US Air Force to detect initial threat from the People's Republic of China.
From the power plant, walk until you see a beach, follow path, until you see a large hole (sewer).
Climb the sewer carefully, you could find the cached attached to one wave breaker on top of the sewer. (see picture)
